October at Mad Macks: Oktoberfest, Halloween Rides & Fresh Fall Beers

Grab your steins, dust off your costumes, and get your crew together. October at Mad Macks brings an Oktoberfest celebration, a Halloween brewery bike crawl, fresh beer releases, and plenty of reasons to settle into the taproom along the way.

Here’s what’s coming up this month.

Costumes, Bikes & Brewery Stops

Halloween Brewery Bike Crawl | Saturday, October 31 | 9 AM–3 PM

Three breweries, ten miles, and a very good excuse to ride in costume.

Join us for an adults-only Halloween bike crawl from Mad Macks to Barrels to Prost, with relay races, a costume contest, and beer stops along the way. Round up your riding crew and come ready for a little Halloween chaos.

Adults only. Gravel bikes preferred.

Fresh from the Tanks

Lagergeist Märzen | 6.5% ABV

Releasing October 10 at Oktoberfest

Lagergeist means “Spirit of the Lager,” and this one has a little mischief in its soul. Our lighter take on the classic amber Märzen brings toasted bread crust, a touch of caramel sweetness, and a hint of honey. Smooth, crisp, and ready for a spot in your stein.

Blakes Brown Trout | 5.2% ABV

Release date to be announced

Meet our first English Brown ale. Expect a malt-forward beer with notes of toasted bread, nuts, and caramel, with a possible touch of chocolate. Gentle hop bitterness balances the sweetness, while a smooth, medium body makes it easy to sip.

Pale of Deception | 5.3% ABV

Release date to be announced

Don’t let the innocent name fool you. Mosaic and Simcoe hops bring bright citrus, tropical fruit, and a touch of pine, backed by a balanced malt body and a crisp, pleasantly bitter finish. Deceptively smooth. Unmistakably hoppy.

Whether you’re coming for pierogies and a stein competition, bringing the kids for Story Hour, or planning your Halloween ride, we’ll see you at Mad Macks this October. Prost!
